Okay, enough of the poetry already. I often express my feelings through poetry or music because it’s easier, it’s like I don’t have to go into the details of the what is, just spill it out in rhymes leaving you to relate in your own unique way with what resonates with you.

Today, I experienced a significant challenge that left me feeling stressed, anxious, and upset about the future of our connection. I firmly believe in fostering a true connection, and that means sharing not just the highlights but also the lows. I’m not a fan of toxic positivity, and because you guys mean the world to me, I’ll give you a brief rundown of what happened today.

Lately I’ve been thinking about comparisonitis, perhaps it’s the full moon, or perhaps not. But what I do know is that it is indeed, the ‘thief of joy’ and in actual fact it can be quite debilitating.
